Exciting Opportunity for a Project Manager to join our well-established Marine Engineering client based in Newcastle.

Operating within the engineering sector, delivering complex projects with a focus on MOD and contractual engagements. Our client prides itself on quality, innovation, and a strong reputation within the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
• Manage contractual obligations and liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance.
• Oversee project planning, risk management, and resource allocation to meet project milestones.
• Ensure all projects adhere to MOD and other contractual standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues and facilitate smooth project execution.
• Prepare and manage project documentation and progress reports for senior management and clients.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the engineering sector.
• Strong understanding of contracts management, specifically related to MOD projects.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results.
• Good knowledge of project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrable understanding of engineering principles and standards.
