Business Development Representative
Software Sales | London
£50,000 + Uncapped Commission
Tekselect is recruiting on behalf of a growing software business for a Business Development Representative to take full ownership of the sales process from first contact through to signed contract and ongoing renewal.
We are open to recent graduates looking to launch a career in software sales as well as candidates who already have BDR or SaaS sales experience. Attitude and ambition will count for more than your background.
What the role involves
Generating new business you will be identifying and approaching senior decision makers, building a strong pipeline and converting conversations into commercial opportunities.
Managing and progressing deals You will keep prospects engaged across the process, maintain momentum and ensure you are in the right place at the right time when a decision is ready to be made.
Retaining and growing accounts You will be responsible for nurturing existing clients through regular contact, relevant updates and structured check-ins to build relationships that last and generate repeat revenue.
What we are looking for
Prior sales experience is helpful but not essential. What matters most is the right attitude. Training will be provided from day one regardless of your starting point.

You ask good questions and have a genuine interest in learning and understanding. You are competitive and motivated to win, while staying level-headed when things do not go to plan.
