Service Type: 24-hour housing and support for adults with complex mental health needs
About the Service
House 10 is a secure 24-hour supported living environment for six adults living with complex mental health needs. Our aim is to promote quality of life through compassionate, person-centred care and a psychologically safe environment that supports recovery.
Our multidisciplinary team, including an on-site Occupational Therapist, provides holistic support, covering all aspects of daily living, physical and emotional wellbeing, medication management, and social inclusion.
The Role
As a Project Worker at House 10, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals live meaningful and fulfilling lives. Each day is different, but your responsibilities will typically include:

  • Supporting residents with daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care.
  • Administering and monitoring medication.
  • Accompanying residents to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities.
  • Supporting service users to develop confidence and independence.
  • Contributing to individual support and risk management plans.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
A Typical Day
A morning shift might include helping residents prepare breakfast, supporting them with medication, and attending appointments or community activities. Evening shifts focus on preparing dinner, social time, and winding down for the night. Nights ensure safety, comfort, and continuity of care.
Staff are actively involved in activities that bring joy and purpose to residents' lives from cooking, baking, and gardening to music, swimming, and trips to the beach or national parks.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for people who are:
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient.
  • Great communicators with a genuine interest in mental health recovery.
  • Problem-solvers who can stay calm under pressure.
  • Passionate about psychologically informed care.
  • Open to learning, reflection, and new ways of working.
Experience in mental health or supported housing is helpful but not essential what matters most is your attitude and willingness to make a difference.
Support & Development
New staff are supported through a structured induction and probation process, ongoing supervision, and monthly reflective practice sessions. You'll work alongside experienced, supportive colleagues who offer mentoring and guidance as you settle in.
Why Join Us?
  • A genuinely supportive and inclusive team environment.
  • Opportunities to make a real difference in people's lives.
  • Strong culture of reflection, learning, and professional growth.
  • Rewarding, meaningful work where progress, no matter how small, is celebrated.
  • Our staff tell us what they love most is getting to know the residents, seeing their progress, and feeling truly supported by the team.
