ARM is recruiting for an Estimator / Tendering Engineer to join a leading organisation within the energy transition and power generation sector.
This is an opportunity to support the delivery of low-carbon power generation and battery storage projects, preparing commercially competitive and technically robust tenders across a varied customer base.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, tender submissions, and technical proposals
- Review engineering tender packages and client specifications
- Assess project viability from technical and commercial perspectives
- Conduct site visits to support pricing and proposal development
- Liaise directly with clients throughout the tendering process
- Support sales and project teams with technical input
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2+ years' experience
OR - HND/HNC qualification with 3+ years' relevant experience
- Experience within estimating, tendering, or technical sales engineering
- Knowledge of power generation systems, standby generation, batteries, and associated mechanical/electrical systems
- Understanding of energy projects, O&M operations, CDM, and health & safety
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence
